Pastor Eric is a graduate of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and, as he likes to point out, a native Californian. Born in San Diego, he grew up in the San Francisco area. He received a Bachelor of Music from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA and a Master of Divinity from Luther. He met his wife, Lisa while at his first call in Green Bay, WI. Pastor Eric loves to play guitar and sing in the worship band, occasionally golfs, enjoys tech stuff and is slowly collecting all the Simpsons DVDs.
Beth Palmer is a graduate of California Polytechnic University of Pomona with a BA in History. She began her career in ministry in 2006 as a youth director. Beth has also worked at schools with children of all ages from preschool to high school. She is married to her husband Matt and has two children Luke and Cambria. In her spare time, Beth loves to read and go to Disneyland. Beth also loves baseball and her favorite the Los Angeles Dodgers!
Felecia is a Los Angeles native. Her hobbies are hiking, swimming and rollerblading. In her free time she volunteers with various animal rescue organizations.
Jennifer has been our choir director here at Rock of the Foothills since 2006. In addition to her work here she also leads three chime choirs, five children’s choirs, and a recorder choir, along with many private music lessons at three Southern California private schools. She also performs as pianist and/or vocalist for many kinds of events and programs in Southern California. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from La Sierra University in Riverside, California.
Interim Contemporary Worship Director
Lisa is a graduate of Wittenberg University with a Bachelor’s of Music Education. She has worked in churches in Music, Worship development, Youth Ministry, Family Ministry, Media Development and Administration. She has worked with Life Promotions in Appleton, WI where she helped develop and Launch the 4-day Christian music festival, LiFest. She is a certified coach and presenter with 3DMinistries and an MBTI Administrator. She is currently working on her Masters in Missional Church Movements at Wheaton College. Lisa enjoys biking, gardening and cutting edge technology.
Janet Harms, Ed.D., is an internationally acclaimed concert organist who has performed throughout the United States and presented more than 80 recitals in Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, and Italy. She was awarded a scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music in New York at age 13. Equally at home on the conductor’s podium, Harms has pursued a dual career as a choral conductor. In 1995, she founded—and still serves as artistic director of—the Windsong Southland Chorale of Ontario. Dr. Harms is an extremely popular music professor at two local universities: Azusa Pacific University, in Azusa, where she is the Chair of the Organ Department, and at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
