Holy Week

Thursday, March 28, 7:00 PM - Maundy Thursday Worship with Holy Communion

Friday, March 29, 12:00 & 7:00 PM - Good Friday Worship

Sunday, March 31, 8:45 & 11:00 AM - Easter Sunday Worship with Holy Communion

8:45 AM

At this, our traditional worship service, we enjoy the richness of Lutheran liturgy in a relaxed manner. We encounter Christ in hearing the gospel, singing the great hymns, hearing our terrific choir, and simply being with each other.

11:00 AM

1 Peter 2:5 - “like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” The name “Peter” means ‘Rock.’ We’ve named this worship service Rock 2:5 to remind us that worship is not just something we do on Sunday morning, but a way we live our lives everyday, being built into the “priesthood of all believers.” In Rock 2:5 worship we bring out the band and turn up the energy. This is a very casual service. We encounter Christ in hearing the gospel and authentic preaching, singing, and through a variety of prayer experiences.

All worship services are also available online.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month and all festival days.

Children are welcome in worship. We know they can wiggle and fuss and that’s just fine. We also offer a cry room just off the sanctuary where parents may take their children and still participate in worship. During the school year, Kid’s Church is available for elementary-aged children. We dismiss the kids after the children’s message and often return before Holy Communion.
